Rules of the Decadent Oblivion


Becoming a Guise

To join Decadent Oblivion and become a Guise send us a note entitled “Join”
We will then examine your body of work and judge you worthy of joining our collective.

After that you will be informed that your mask has been added to our court and you must also add us to your watch and put our Avatar in your journal to show your allegiance .

Submitting work

Once you have been accepted into our Collective you can submit work that you feel is of a nature that fits within our ideals, this can be prose or a visual. All submissions of this type will be added to our favorites gallery, under your personnel area. As the passage of time passes we will present the links to the submissions from the previous cycle in their own areas also.

So to submit a piece, simply send us a note entitled “Submission” with a link to the piece. We will judge your work for the suitable Decadent Oblivion qualities and submit them to the Collective


Becoming a Decadent

Beyond being a Guise there is the Decadent.

To be become one of the Decadent you must submit an original piece of work that you think reflects the collective and exemplifies Decadent Oblivion. This can also be either a visual piece or a work of prose; the choice is entirely up to you. And we would like it if this piece were done specifically for the collective.

On your original piece or in your journal please include a note that you allow Decadent Oblivion to put your work in our collective and make mention of us in the comments of the piece with a link.

Submit the piece to the Collective in a note entitled First Decadent Submission and when we have judged the work to be of suitable decadence we will rechristen it with the next available Decadent number and enter it into our gallery with the link to the appropriate artist.

Also include in this note the title that you would like to be referred to in the halls of Decadence. Once your first piece has been submitted into our gallery, and that we are happy with your new name, we will add your avatar to our Decadent ranks with your new title.

After that you are free to submit as many works of Decadence to us as you want with a note entitled Decadent Submission and they will be examined and dealt with in the same manner as your first piece.

And on a final note please be aware, we embrace the Decadent here, so all of the rules about are subject to our whimsy and decadence and might change without notice.
